MyLocal Australia was created from a deep love of place, travel, and the belief that some of the best experiences are closer than we think.
Founded by Jas, who was born and raised in rural Riverland, South Australia, MyLocal is inspired by a lifetime of exploring both near and far. Jas now lives on the outskirts of the Flinders Ranges, South Australia with her partner, surrounded by wide open spaces and the kind of landscapes that remind you to slow down.
Over the years, Jas has been lucky enough to travel internationally, while also spending time discovering what South Australia has to offer — from small towns and hidden stays to local experiences you don’t always see online.
MyLocal exists to shine a light on what’s right in front of us. It’s about celebrating local accommodation, experiences, and destinations, and encouraging people to explore their own backyards with fresh eyes.
Because sometimes, the best trips don’t require a passport — just curiosity.
